The CASE21 Item bank now has over 24,000 items for MS and NC!

The CASE21 Item bank now has over 24,000 items for MS and NC! In December, approximately 1,200 new items were added in all subject areas. More science and social studies items are being uploaded and will be available soon. The Item Bank also has new functions available! Now, after teachers have created the PDF of their test once, an icon appears next to the test name. Just click on the icon to bring that PDF back up at any time without having to wait for it to process!

Also, district administrators can now create both public and private tests. If you are a district administrator and would like to make a formative test that all your teachers can view and use, just create a formative, unit, quiz, or homework type of test and it will immediately be visible to all teachers with access in your district. If, however, you would like to create a test that is secure and NOT visible by others, create a “benchmark” type test and it will only be visible to you or other district administrators. You can then share it with the teachers when you are ready by emailing them a PDF of the test or printing and distributing the test on paper. School and district administrators: are you curious about whether your teachers are using the Item Bank? Go to “reports” then “activity” then “user login report” and choose the dates for which you’d like to see a report. Click “view report” and you can see which teachers have logged into the system and when. New functionality is also being added that will allow you to “quick pick” questions for a test based on the objectives, grade level, and difficulty of the questions. You can even filter out questions that you’ve already used on other tests!
