Software Engineer Position Summary

We are an education company seeking a talented software engineer.  Our ideal candidate has very strong technical and troubleshooting skills, but also has strong people skills.  This is a hands-on software development position that involves resolving issues with our current software systems as well as the building of new tools to enhance those systems.  The candidate would also be expected to use the current systems in order to produce results for our Clients.

Responsibilities:

• Research issues in the current applications and database, and implement fixes or work with others to see those issues through to resolution.
• Develop and enhance applications and database to fulfill Client as well as Company needs.
• Participate in the testing of applications and database to ensure they are robust and meet their requirements.
• Use the current systems in order to create data for Client needs.

Requirements:

• Four-year college degree with a major in computer science or related field.
• Demonstrate technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• One to five years of C# and/or ASP.NET software development experience.
• Good understanding of SQL databases and the ability to understand complex Microsoft T-SQL code.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
